6 No-Pressure Steps
There is no charge for this process--we want you to see exactly how we can help you improve upon the plan that you already have in place before you pay us a single dollar in fees or trust us with a penny of your nest egg.
Step 1 - Initial Phone Call
Before committing your time or ours, this 15 - 20 minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our expertise. After all, you wouldn’t see a neurologist if you needed heart surgery.
Even if we aren’t a good fit for each other, you'll leave the conversation with an action plan: we will gladly introduce you to a firm that is better suited to your needs.
Step 2 - First Meeting - Get Organized
Prescription without evaluation and diagnosis is malpractice.
The goal of this meeting is to get perfectly clear on your goals, concerns and unique financial situation.
Your answers to our questions, along with the documents we requested you bring, will guide our analysis, which will result in plain-English answers to four critical questions.
Step 3 - Our Analysis
This is where the magic happens.
We will apply decades of experience, thousands of hours of training, mentoring by the profession’s top experts, and knowledge of a CFP® Professional to answer the following questions:
- Can you afford to retire?
- Are you overpaying your taxes?
- Can your portfolio be improved?
- Can you eliminate, or at least reduce, threats to your retirement?
Step 4 - Second Meeting - Get The Action Plan For Your Future
This is where the proverbial rubber meets the road.
During this meeting we will explain, very clearly, exactly what you need to do to achieve your financial goals, including the answers to the four questions we worked on during our analysis.
This is where you will see, in dollars and cents, how our firm can improve your finances.
At the end of this meeting we will ask if you would like to begin working with our firm or if you would like to sleep on it.
Step 5 - Sleep On It
We are in no rush for you to make a decision.
Prior to deciding whether we should work together, you will want to answer the following questions:
- Do I like/trust/respect Wealth Advisor James Schwarz?
- Will the benefits exceed the cost?
- Do I understand and agree with the investment philosophy?
- Do the recommendations make sense to me?
Step 6 - Third Meeting - Get Started
During this meeting, we will transition into our New Client Process and begin gathering additional information from you that will be necessary for us to begin serving you. Prior to this meeting, we will make sure that any additional questions have been answered to your satisfaction.
While we would love to work with you, if at any point during the process you decide that it’s not a good fit, we will wish you all the best and continued success. In other words, there is never a hard-sell or pressure to say yes.
